"The US Border Patrol is part of Homeland Security and its plan to #seize the Nation's land for the border wall. The US #BorderPatrol already has open access to the Tohono O'odham Nation, and a #SpySystem in place to track #Oodham and watch them.
The #Israeli built #Elbit Systems spy towers track O'odham on the Nation, with live video feed. US Border Patrol agents have been arrested for murder, serial rape, assault, kidnapping, drug running and spotting for the cartels all along the border. The facts are ignored by #MainstreamMedia.
"US Border Patrol agents in this area murdered Raymond Mattia, Tohono O'odham, at his home. His body showed 11 bullets, and the wounds of rifle butts and broken bones. Raymond told #CensoredNews before he was murdered that he had video-taped US Border Patrol agents running drugs with the cartels past his home at the border. This evidence disappeared after it was submitted.

No new news about #TohonoOodhamNation closing their borders to #BorderWall contractors. However, I did see a notice posted on the Nation's website which mentions contractors that are allowed, and who aren't working on #TrumpsBorderWall ...

Eyes on the Sky after #TohonoOodham Nation' Posts 'No Trespass' Signs for Border Wall Construction Crews

"We are watching the skies after the Tohono O'odham Nation posted 'No Trespass' signs, and alerted tribal police to remove any border wall construction contractors who attempt to enter their sovereign land. The Nation asked a federal court in Washington for an injunction to prevent seizure of their land, stating only Congress can diminish their lands.
"These combat jets usually do their war training maneuvers in the mornings over the Tohono O'odham Nation, but this one was flying along the border last night over the Nation, at 11 pm local time."

"The U.S. Department of Homeland Security threatens to construct the Metal Wall on 62 miles of #TohonoOodham Nations lands adjacent the United States and Mexico International border.
"The O’odham Way of Life is dismissed in waiving national protective laws, as was done with the 2006 Secure Fence Act Vehicle Barrier and the 2014 Arizona Border Surveillance Technology Plan.
"The Integrated Fixed Towers were constructed, destroying and removing ancient human remains and burial property, and blowing up hills and mountains of great cultural significance to the O’odham.
"Along the 62 miles of O’odham lands the #BorderPatrol has been using military fear tactics on the people, and all their activities are unmonitored.
"Because he spoke out about border patrol and tribal police corruption, unarmed hereditary ceremony leader #RaymondMattia Sr was shot and killed by United States military called the border patrol along with a non-American Indian Tohono O’odham Nation Police Officer.
"Thirty-eight (38) bullets were shot at Ray, eleven (11) bullets hit his body as Ray stood unarmed in front of his house. Their brutal Excessive Force attack on a dying man is recorded in the Tucson Medical Examiners Report as blunt force trauma, his body marked by rifle butts, with cuts on his head, his nose and face, broken 12th rib and broken right arm.
"The border patrol officers, Scott Whitehouse, Dan Sifuentes and Ivan Torralva, and Tohono O’odham tribal police Cedric Randle, were not charged for killing Ray."

As the #NoWall #protest movement here builds, we are planning ahead for the next phase. The Forest Service has informally told us that they consider this environmental mess an emergency situation and are committed to remediating it as soon as they have the legal go ahead.
Unfortunately, there has already been talk of replacing it with a Trump-era mega wall or other barrier. This is completely unacceptable, ineffective, wasteful, destructive, and completely unnecessary for #border security.

December 16 Ocelot Camp #ContainerWall protest update! We still have a great turn out and support is building. At this point, it looks like we have permanently stopped this phase of construction just by being here ready to blockade.
The next phase will be making sure that this travesty wall is not replaced by another "official" one.
