"The crews are violating the 'No Trespass' order to build the #BorderWall . Drilling is underway,
"The media is incorrectly reporting that a federal judge ruled that the border wall is being built on federal land. Federal Judge Richard Leon actually said that this is 'likely' federal land.
"The US government claims it is part of the ' #RooseveltReservation,' a 60-foot-wide stretch along the border created by presidential proclamation in 1907.
"This matter remains before the federal court.
"The Tohono O'odham Nation said it has been #Oodham land since time immemorial and is now officially the #TohonoOodham Nation's land."

We lost many of our best, #Lakota Warrior Woman #DebWhitePlume, our longtime friend #KleeBenally, our French translator #ChristinePrat, and many more. "#NDNCollective, a Rapid City-based nonprofit that advocates for #IndigenousRights, is among the lawsuit plaintiffs.
" 'From the #LandDefenders who occupied two active drill pads for a week, to fighting in the courts through multiple lawsuits and a temporary restraining order, today’s win is multi-faceted and offers a blueprint for future #LandDefense fights,' NDN said Friday in a press release.
"Future fights include one scheduled for the week of May 18. The state Board of Minerals and Environment is scheduled to conduct a hearing in Hot Springs on a proposal to conduct exploratory drilling for #uranium in the southern #BlackHills.
"That project would be near #CravenCanyon, where the rock walls are carved with Native American petroglyphs believed to be thousands of years old."

"#Mining activity is currently taking place at Pe' Sla despite community opposition. The Rochford Mineral Exploratory Drilling Project (#RMEDP) which seeks to drill for graphite, proposed by #PeteLien & Sons, must be stopped.

Open daily from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PMThese spaces are currently serving as community support and staging locations for volunteers, #patrollers, and #LegalObservers. Individuals are welcome to stop in to stock their vehicles with supplies, warm up, and connect with others doing this work. Coffee and food are available throughout the day.
Beginning today, there will be daily #KnowYourRights trainings facilitated by #NDNCollective:

We are still accepting donations. Current priority needs include:

• Baby Diapers (all sizes)
• Baby wipesAt this time, we have sufficient water and toilet paper and are not seeking additional donations of those items.
