- If you take things out of your car, it will be lighter and use less petrol.
- If you allow heavier loads in trucks they can carry more things and use less petrol too.
Very good logic here. They have clearly thought this through.
We are in good hands.... not.Edit: please see replies for reasons why this actually could make sense if you disregard long term damage to roads and increase in potentially deadly accidents (as well as wear and tear of the trucks themselves).
Please also remember that I am just shitposting through it. It's a coping mechanism when I'm faced with the never ending torrent of shit this late stage capitalist hellscape and its minions force upon us all.

I’m seeing this article being seeded through a number of different ‘news’ outlets in Canada through The Canadian Press. It’s basically a PR piece written by a Libertarian ‘think tank’ out of Montreal meant to sway public opinion in favour of another pipeline.
