The biggest oil & gas companies operating in #Canada have enjoyed a massive increase in profits in recent years, "and yet the largest portion of the money went to shareholders, primarily American. Over the same time period, Alberta workers saw their share of the value generated by the oil and gas industry dramatically decline."
Obviously, spending billions of public dollars to build more pipelines to service American shareholders - during a #TradeWar, in the grip of a #ClimateCrisis - would be a really stupid thing for Canadians to do.
