Something different today.
I got a drill-press jig for my dremel that allows me to drill straight holes through things.
This is good enough in itself.It also allows you to mount the dremel sideways...
but, there's no included surface for keeping things straight when sideways.
So I made one.
It can adjust up and down with the dremel, and can move towards and away from the dremel.
And it includes a sled for moving things under the tool.

So I modified my Roland system 100m a little.
I’ve added a sub oscillator to each of the 110 voice modules, which is normalised to the VCF second input.
The mod is based on a 4013 flip flop and is fully reversible, no holes or track cuts were needed.
It sounds fab!

#introduction I am a molecular and structural biologist working at the Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology in Paris. I am working with proteins and RNAs, fascinated by the many ways they interact with eachother. I use all sorts of biophysical techniques and molecular tools, but mostly #NMR and #Crystallography. Why am I jailbreaking? Well because I want a little more functionality for when I am biking.
I have a HUD that displays CarPlay that’s attached to my helmet, (#eyelights) CarPlay doesn’t allow you to use biking directions but now I can.

Putting together some slides on our efforts to detect tRNA modifications by #nanopore for RBI group meeting, and really enjoying this recent review from Esteban Orellana & colleagues at Boston Children's on #tRNAs in disease. Detecting and (eventually) quantifying these #modifications is a tough task, but the implications of being able to do so are huge. It's a fun challenge!
