One former interpreter for US forces in #Afghanistan was detained by ICE agents in Connecticut last month after he showed up for a routine green card appointment. A second was arrested in June, just minutes after attending his first #asylum hearing in San Diego.

Один процесс; Один тред, но руками можно создавать еще; По GILу на интерпретатор, все еще можно получить плюшки настоящей многозадачности по сети; Работает с asyncio. Lua is a popular language used in many programs for user scripts. One notable mention in the Unix world is NeoVim, although it's probably even more popular in the game industry. I recently discovered pocketpy, which aims to do the same but with a Python 3 language subset. In the post I just have published in my blog I show how to use pocketpy with C. Hope it's useful!

From #Peirce's POV we are able to ask, and we have to ask, what could it possibly mean for a sign to refer to itself? Indeed, do signs refer to themselves at all, or is it only that #Interpreters refer signs to their objects? The whole problem looks very different once we take that point of view.
