Thanks to the power of PTSD, sometimes i get to dream about trauma and wake up thinking about it. Today i woke up thinking about how to describe my experience of being a trans child. It went something like this:
Imagine you are an 11 year old girl. You are interested in typical things for someone your age: TV shows, going outside to play with your friends, things like that, but you are also starting to take more of an interest in fashion and popular music. But something is wrong. The girls you know don’t want to be around you, and the boys treat you badly. In fact, they routinely punch you and beat you up. Your body is also becoming increasingly alien to you. You aren’t developing like the girls you know. Quite the opposite. You are looking more like a boy every day. And it’s confusing. Frightening. And you can’t talk to anyone about it, either, because you know that if you do then you will either be laughed at, or more likely you will be punished for not fitting in with what people expect. You are increasingly isolated and alone. Cut off even from your family, because quite honestly they scare you the most. You are in pain, and the pain is getting worse with every passing day. You cry yourself to sleep at night, wishing for a miracle to change your body. But as time goes by, it seems like the only thing that could possibly free you from this pain is death, so you start thinking about that more, too, until one day you are ready to embrace it. Only then you discover that facing death is just as terrifying as continuing to live the way you are, and you can’t go through with it. So you give up inside. You become numb. You cut yourself off from everyone to avoid them ever finding out who you really are.
That’s what it was like for me to be a trans girl in the early 80s.

医疗补助制度（ Medicaid ）将停止为跨性未成年人的物理阉割、化学性激素阉割手术付款；
儿童健康保险方案（CHIP） 也将停止为19岁以下的青少年物理、化学阉割手术付款。
于2026年10月13日生效。美国已有27个州禁止阉割18岁以下的青少年。
什么是性别确认手术？
性别确认手术， 减轻、缓和人们的性别焦虑、困感， 促进身体性别与心理性别一致。
不是每个人都需要性别确认手术（废话！）。人们使用语言， 其中一个目的： 不是为了传播真相， 而是为了传播谎言， 而且经常是谎言获胜。
聪明的现代人， 真会玩， 发明身体性别（sex）、心理性别（gender）这种词汇。
是的， 就是要混水摸鱼（利益）。身体性别， 生理性别： 男人， 阴茎、睾丸； 女人， 乳房、阴道、子宫、卵巢。
心理性别： 玄而又玄的词语， 实际是指人类社会千百年来，关于男人、女人的文化、思想、习俗、规范等等。如果承认一个人的性别分为身体性别、心理性别， 那么现实情况分为：
一、
男人认为自己是男人， 女人认为自己是女人， 愿意遵守当前的男性、女性文化规范。
身体性别与心理性别一致， 无须性别手术。
千百年流传下来的男性文化、女性文化，当然需要变革，
例如， 中国废除了女人缠足， 非洲废除了女性割礼(割掉女人阴蒂)。
但是， 文化变革， 不是要男人假扮女人， 也不是要女人假扮男人。二、
男人认为自己是女人， 女人认为自己男人。
身体性别与心理性别不一致。
那么性别确认手术， 可以分为两类：1、
阉割身体以配合心理幻觉， 这是医生发财之道。
但是阉割后，
男人还是男人， 只是变成了一个性功能残缺的男人；
女人还是女人， 只是变成了一个性功能残缺的女人。
将阉割后的男人， 称为跨女(trans-woman)；
将阉割后的女人， 称为跨男(trans-man)；
这些都无济于事。
因为西方不败教主、马克思早就承认：改变事物的名称， 并不能改变事物的本质。
而且，自己如果真的相信性别是由心理决定， 则根本不需要阉割身体。
之所以要阉割身体， 还是因为不相信性别是由心理所决定。
性别教徒的逻辑， 不自洽， 即自相矛盾， 必将成为今人、后人的笑料。2、
放弃心理幻觉， 接受身体性别。
这时性别教徒纷纷站出来说， 放弃幻觉， 太痛苦了， 他们宁愿为了幻觉，阉割身体。
不阉割， 勿宁死。
现在的跨性（阉割）运动，实际就是一种邪教运动。
为了避免更多少男少女， 成为跨性（阉割）教的小白鼠， 最重要的是斩断邪教的资金链条。“性别重置手术/sex reassignment surgery”， 实际与“性别确认手术”同义，
物理手术阉割、异性激素化学阉割，强迫一个人的身体配合一种心理幻觉， 遵守异性的文化、思想、心理。
这是对一个健康的身体进行不必要的药物、手术治疗，导致身体紊乱，
是现代医疗支持的自我伤害。"指定性别/Assigned Gender"，
婴儿出生后， 医生、护士， 父母、亲友给予他的性别称呼。
指定性别， 暗含强制、压迫的含义。
如同人们把猫称为猫， 把狗称为狗， 不会去征求猫、狗的意见，
人们根据婴儿的性器官， 称呼婴儿的性别， 只是事实判断， 不是什么强制， 也不是什么压迫。
除了极少、极少的性器官畸形之外， 一般来说， 大人对婴儿的性别判断是正确的。
性别教徒，生造“指定性别”之类的词语， 只不过想制造虚假"弱者有理"借口而已。中国寓言：削足适履、杀头便冠；
外国神话：将高个子绑在小床上截短， 把矮个子绑在大床上拉长。究竟是古代人聪明，还是现代人愚蠢呢？

Updated 5:54 AM GMT+8, August 12, 2026President Donald Trump’s administration said that Medicaid will stop paying for gender-affirming surgeries and hormone treatments for transgender minors and the state Children’s Health Insurance Program won’t pay for the treatments for those under 19.
The policy is to take effect Oct. 13.
“We are not going to pay for our innocent children to undergo these barbaric surgeries and practices, which result in unthinkable and irreversible harm to their young bodies,” Trump said in his post.

Why?
When people ask me who my favorite musical artist is, I blather about not really having favorites per se and then inevitably admit it's probably Ezra Furman anyway. Liz, which is the name she goes by personally now, makes music that comes out of a punk ethos and edge, but fuses elements of everything from doo-wop to gospel to form her unique musical voice. They first connected with me as being one of the few other people I could find who was to some degree fluid in gender identity and expression, but was rooted in an unapologetic femininity with teeth. Since then, her music never stopped growing, exploring, and becoming ever more precious and close to my heart as a fellow trans woman.
I even had the privilege to meet her after a concert last year, and she is adorable and sweet as all get-out! I recognized an anxiety and neurodivergence that I know all too well, and I probably was a bit much with my fangirling (sorry if you ever read this Liz, as I know me and a bunch of my friends loving on you after a show may have been a bit much). Anywho, she's got a sincere heart that shines through in all her music.
Where to start?
A line from her song "Book of Our Names" is literally tattooed on my arm. Taking on an almost hymnal melody and tone, the song dreams of a time when all trans people are free and known, were we are "None of us ashes, all of us flames." These words circle a candle glowing with trans pride color flames on my arm, grounding me in the world I want for us.

The video is an ode to transfeminine joy in its visuals, and makes me smile whenever I watch it.

I recognized an anxiety and neurodivergence that I know all too well, and I probably was a bit much with my fangirling (sorry if you ever read this Liz, as I know me and a bunch of my friends loving on you after a show may have been a bit much). Anywho, she's got a sincere heart that shines through in all her music.

A line from her song "Book of Our Names" is literally tattooed on my arm. Taking on an almost hymnal melody and tone, the song dreams of a time when all trans people are free and known, were we are "None of us ashes, all of us flames." These words circle a candle glowing with trans pride color flames on my arm, grounding me in the world I want for us.

The video is an ode to transfeminine joy in its visuals, and makes me smile whenever I watch it.
