A little painting at 12x16cm of the docks in #calais #france

For this piece, I used different watercolour paper to my usual (rougher, cold pressed & a different brand) & found it to be very absorbent. The paint soaked in very fast and it was a challenge to get it to behave in the way I am used to. Despite this, I think it turned out really well!
