CampOUT weekend at West Forty RV Park in Gilbert, MN — about 40 LGBTQIA+ folks camping together on the Iron Range, timed with Range Iron Pride.
We took 2nd in the campsite decorating contest. 🏳️🌈
Judging was at 9pm, just after dusk, so it came down to lighting: a 48ft addressable string hung as one arc, static Pride gradient. Static beat animated — judges never see a full cycle.
Booked next year before we left.

Heute war die CSD Demo in Bayreuth. Zwar viel zu heiß, aber trotzdem mit vielen Leuten.

Feeling somewhat frustrated that our local Pride, that I originally helped setup back in the day, is kinda dying.
There’s certain committee members that are very difficult to work with and progressively push the good people away.
Pride matters too much to not participate but doesn’t give a good feeling.

We are at Chester open air theatre, where they're putting on a production of a play called Let The Sun Shine In.
As the name suggests, it's set in the late 60s and has lots of happy hippies trying to change the world with peace and love. But also today is Chester Pride, and they've incorporated lots of little references to that into this performance.

Heute war CSD in Münster mit 12.000 Leuten auf der Straße 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️. Wir waren mit dabei für die Rechte von queeren Menschen. Für die Sicherheit von Queers, ein reformiertes Abstammungsrecht und die Sichtbarkeit der queeren Community. ✊
