@rower Mostek, który wymontowałem z nowego roweru, żeby założyć 2 centymetry krótszy i amortyzowany, wsadziłem dzisiaj do starej maszyny, bo w niej miałem dla mnie za długi.
Musiałem do tego dołożyć adapter pozwalający założyć mostek 1 1/4 na rurę 1 1/8, ale wszystko ładnie się zgrało. Dzięki skróceniu mostka mogłem cofnąć nieco siodło, które jakiś czas temu przesunąłem do przodu, żeby skrócić reach, a dzięki danym z bike-sizingu przed zakupem nowego roweru mogłem poprawić także wysokość siodła.
Po tym wszystkim wziąłem go na godzinne kręcenie i muszę powiedzieć, że siedzi się na nim wyraźnie lepiej.
Przy okazji odkryłem, że o ile przesiadając się na Canyona odczułem różnicę w komforcie, jaką dają nowe podzespoły, to jednak jak duża jest, uświadomiłem sobie dopiero dzisiaj, gdy złapałem po przerwie za twarde i chude chwyty Sora, z ich wąskimi dźwigniami, które tak daleko trzeba wychylać. Podobnie z hamulcami – czułem, że są dużo lepsze, ale rozmiar przepaści między nowymi a starymi uświadomiła mi dzisiejsza próba wyhamowania na dość stromym zjeździe.
I tak Ridley ciągle jest fajną maszyną i zostawiam go sobie do jeżdżenia, gdy pogoda będzie taka, że żal mi będzie wystawić z domu Canyona. Chociaż kusi mnie też, żeby na lato założyć mu slicki i czasem robić czysto asfaltowe trasy.

The other one is from your water heater, and is its condensate drain line. It's joining the other one with a "T" fitting, but it looks like it's some kind of #compression #fitting rather than a "glued" joint, which they usually do because it's cheaper and lasts forever.

Pictured are two seams I added, more in the description. They are almost good now, still a bit of vertical wrinkles so I think the inseam could be scooped even more.
I'm not even sure these are the right way to go as fitting diagnostic is overwhelming and I never learned it. But it seems to be working and maybe I will wear them again, after all. Or try some more fitting techniques at least. #sewing #fitting -

I was going to throw this pair of leggings away. They are old, made of fun cat print fabric that is, unfortunately, easily piling poly suiting, and I've changed sizes a lot since, and it was an imperfect test pair of a parametric design.
But I looked at the lovely invisible zipper in the back, where the waistband pocket is (tusky forgot this detail), and tried them on.
They almost fit and it felt logical to fold excess here and there to improve the fit, so I did. +1

Last lecture 🔖 of this semester is done! Interestingly the last topic was linear regression 📈 and correlation. A fascinating topic with lots to say about #Leastsquares and scientific #fitting of data in general. But with little time ⌛ and little #mathematics it's hard to outline how useful this approach can be.
Looking forward to the mini projects results the students have to hand in soon. Hopefully they learned a little about #statistics 😅
