Medical professionals have said they have no knowledge as to how it works. Where did they get the idea, then, to apply electricity to a body to treat a psychological (a spiritual) problem?

People that suffer from convulsions would say the seizure itself was the problem. So it is ironic that somehow causing a seizure, externally, could be a good thing. Or is it good?

I would be way better at my creative pursuits if my brain didn't decide to do a little reset every dozen seconds or so that washes away both my current thought pattern and, for the lack of a better word, "vibe".

I can't hold on to the warm feeling of having an awesome, well-defined character, atmosphere or plot focused in my head, without something washing over me that feels like waves painting over a beach floating away my thoughts.

#Cat Death Losses Due to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in #SouthDakota

"#Veterinarians and laboratory diagnosticians are fielding reports of death losses in cat populations linked to avian influenza infections.

"Beginning in 2022, an #H5N1 subtype of highly pathogenic avian influenza (abbreviated as HPAI) virus caused death losses in domestic turkeys and chickens in South Dakota and elsewhere in the United States, an outbreak that continues. The HPAI virus causes respiratory and multiple organ failure in affected birds, typically appearing as increased numbers of dead birds in large commercial operations, as well as smaller backyard flocks. Deaths in wild birds, typically migrating waterfowl but also other bird species, have been observed at the same time, as well as spillover of the virus into mammals, such as raccoons, foxes, skunks, and other species.

"In Spring 2024, the HPAI virus began infecting #DairyCows, causing drops in milk production and other signs of illness. Unlike infections in other species, widespread death losses have not been associated with HPAI infections in dairy cows.

"About the same time as its emergence in dairy cows, the HPAI virus was implicated in deaths of domestic cats in the vicinity of affected farms. Most affected cats showed #neurologic signs, such as #tremors or #seizures, for a short period of time before dying.

"Since that time, three cases of substantial death losses in groups of outdoor domestic cats in South Dakota have been described. In each of these cases, there has been no apparent link to dairy cows, other livestock, or domestic poultry."

@caregivers As a completely different side note to my post of a cleaning tip, it appears that perhaps there is a reason for the massive and “explosive” uh “incident”. One thing, though, is that I'd like to emulate the original video sequence at the coda, the end part of the song where it's like "BASE BASE BASE BASE...!" (except it's "BREATH BREATH BREATH" etc.)

It'd be a bunch of images quickly changing, a different one for each "BREATH" (16 images in under 4 seconds).

The thing is, though, that for some people quickly flashing images can have consequences (photosensitive epilepsy, nausea, migraine etc.)

I know that the risk of photosensitive epilepsy is increased based on the frequency of the flash (that is, how quickly the light is flashing), the brightness, and the contrast with background lighting...

So, I am thinking:

- Instead of having the images flash in their order of appearance, sorting them so it only goes light-light-light-dark-dark-dark instead of light-dark-light-dark-light-light to help reduce the risk.

- And if it does reduce the risk but there could still be risk, how I would word a note beforehand to be concise and effective...

Any other thoughts from those with experience mitigating these kinds of risks would be appreciated; thanks.
