I can't stand RFK jr, but the new food pyramid he now suggests is the one I believe in for 15 years now, long before he came into the picture. Despite his failings in other topics, I have to commend him for that, even if various food industries fought him about it:

Unbelievable! I've had high blood pressure most of my life, and I'm on two medications for it. It runs in my family, and I always needed to be careful about it. But just 1 week into my Paleo-style low calorie, low carb diet, with intermitted fasting elements (mostly 16-8 fasting) my blood pressure now measures just 102/71. I've never seen such low numbers in me, and so fast. I'll have to adjust my medication now.
