  1. Engadget: PlayStation just struck a hammer blow to game preservation. “So, that’s it then. As of 2028, game discs will be a thing of the past for PlayStation. 2. The design-art collective COPODE and I are pleased to announce the launch of the 100% Inhuman Made badges project.

We’re marking it with a post on the LSE Impact Blog titled ‘Nothing is “100% human authored”’:

The project starts from the observation that #generativeAI is unsettling long-standing conventions of #authorship, #ownership and #credit.

Much of the response so far has focused on reaffirming the role of the individual #human #creator. But what if that starting point is part of the problem?

The 100% Inhuman Made badges project explores an alternative: challenging the idea that any work is ever purely human-made, and instead foregrounding the distributed, #collaborative and infrastructural elements involved in producing #knowledge and #culture.

A 100% Inhuman Made badge is thus less a label than an invitation: to rethink what we mean by #creativity, authorship and the human in a world shaped by #climate breakdown and the rapid take-up of #AI.

  4. Ok, so the #Maven team states that they deleted the posts they INGESTED WITHOUT CONSENT after the huge negative response from the #fediverse #community.

But yet, the question remains, don't 'The Rules' of each server include the fact that #UserContent is not to be stolen (taken without consent) ?

I mean one of the #MainReason to switch from #bigTech, is the idea that my #content is #notForSale, especially without my explicit say so.
