In fabulous spring sunshine, a view looking across from High Petergate, York, past Precentor's Court to the West Towers of the city's huge 13th-century Gothic cathedral, York Minster.
The ancient thoroughfare's name of High and Low Petergate is derived from the saint's name after which the Minster is dedicated, St Peter.
