Dune Imperium (2020) &
Konzil der Vier (2015)
Frau hat wirklich einen Lauf. 6. Spiel in Folge, dass sie gewinnt. Bei Dune war es für mich das 5. der letzte Platz in Folge... ich brauche Urlaub! 😎
Abgesehen davon, fing Dune punktesetig eher zäh an, bevor es interessant und spannend wurde.
KdV war nach dem 2. Drittel eine klare Sache, die ich nur noch auf-, aber nicht mehr überholen konnte. Erster Sieg für Frau in diesem Spiel und das auch verdient. -

Waren heute zur Neueröffnung bei https://www.fantasywelt.de in Büdelsdorf. Richtig schicke Einrichtung und eine große Auswahl auch "normaler" Spiele. Beim Glücksrad gleich ein nettes Spiel gewonnen.

Caverna: Höhle vs. Höhle (2022) &
IKI (2015)
Wegen @ATaleofTwoMeeples kam Caverna endlich wieder auf den Tisch und es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Mit nur 1 Punkt Vorsprung gewann Frau. Das bedarf mehr Übung.
Bei IKI (inkl. Akebono) waren es dann 7 VP, aber ich habe sehr unkonzentriert gespielt und damit verdient verloren, auch wenn es knapper war, als von beiden gedacht. 😅
Insgesamt ein schöner Spielesonntag. 🥰 -

Wir spielen seit 1-2 Wochen nun #forbiddenJungle und hatten auf schwer noch nicht gewonnen. Hier waren wir kurz davor, dann fällt unser Portal, das schon zwischen 3 Kristallen lag weg. 🤦♂️
Aber: Dank eines super Kontrollzugs mit Hypnosestrahl und super Schieberei der Plätchen haben wir doch noch gewonnen. Das war knapp!

Nach drei Partien Mound Builders in vier Tagen dürfte klar sein, dass mir Solo-Brettspiele viel Freude bereiten. 🧩❤️
Außerdem habe ich bereits einige neue strategische Ideen für die nächsten Partien. 🧠💡 Besonders freue ich mich darauf, bald die Advanced Rules auszuprobieren. 📖✨

Sieg! 🎉🥳
Meine Hauptstadt Cahokia 🏰 hat den Eindringlingen diesmal erfolgreich Widerstand geleistet. ⚔️🛡️
Mit +17 Siegpunkten erreichte ich in meiner dritten Partie Mound Builders einen „Moderate Victory“. 😊🏆Dank der vielen Übung benötigte ich für die Partie nur noch knapp 90 Minuten. ⏱️🎲 Das ist ein großer Unterschied zu meiner ersten Partie, die noch rund vier Stunden gedauert hat. 📈😄

Auch in meiner zweiten Partie Mound Builders konnte ich den Untergang meiner Hauptstadt Cahokia 🏰 nicht verhindern. 💀⚔️
Immerhin habe ich die Partie mit +1 Punkt abgeschlossen – ein Ergebnis, das die Spielautoren als Unentschieden werten. 😊⚖️
Die Zweitpartie lief deutlich flüssiger und dauerte unter 3 Stunden. ⏱️🎲
Das reizvolle Puzzle aus Taktik, Strategie und Krisenmanagement wird sicherlich erneut gespielt. 🎲❤️

One issue I have is accepting some games might not see hundreds of plays. Or even get played every year or so. Unless you dedicate a lot of time to boardgaming even with a modest collection like mine that’s not going to happen. It’s ok if a game doesn’t get played a lot… I tell myself. #BoardGames #BrettSpiele #j2s

July was a great gaming month! Finally finished the It's a Wonderful World: Leisure & Decadence campaign (still a 10/10 for me), and fell hard for Earth, a gorgeous tableau builder that surprised me after months of hesitation. 7 new games total this month.

Prodigals Club (2015)
Das erste Mal zu viert; damit haben wir jetzt alle Konstellationen (2-5) durch. Es funktioniert hervorragend bei jeder Anzahl, ideal ist es aber bei 3 und 4 (andere Brettseite). Dabei haben wir selbst mit Neulingen im 5P unter 2h benötigt, jetzt gerade mal gute 80 min.
Zudem ist es sehr amüsant, wochentagsgeeignet und hat kaum Downtime, weil die Züge schnell gemacht sind.
Für uns immer noch einer unserer Lieblinge. 🥰 -

What do y’all do with board games you can’t seem to sell? I’ve got a handful I want to shift but they’re not popular or desirable (probably weren’t when ‘new’)
I could shift them at an absolute bargain basement price. But that would probably cost me money (as in time, and packing resources) and also I can’t be bothered with that for no gain…

@merialc Essen Spiel approaches and with that board game pre-orders. So soon I’ll be in the position both of ‘have I got pre orders for the games I want’ and ‘can I afford this and the space’ and ‘did I pre order this one twice?’

Our personal stats for July!
👀 New colour thanks to the new Race for the Galaxy Xeno Counterstrike expansion!
We also started Ticket to Ride Legacy, rediscovered Akropolis, AND played a lot of Bomb Busters & Take Time on the last two days!

Der letzte Monat war wieder sehr abwechslungsreich. Und da waren einige schöne Dinge dabei.
Mir macht das Labyrinth Chronicles viel Spaß, allerdings ist die deutsche Übersetzung echt verbesserbar.
Pandemie Die Heilung mal wieder auf den Tisch gepackt und finde es immer noch sooo gut. Zum Glück haben wir die Erweiterung. Auch La Boca hat nichts von seinem Charme verloren. Und der Große Wurf ist immer noch toll.
