Managed to get a good few #boardgames in in July!
Had a blast playing the #netrunner starter set with a friend, and was able to introduce them to #ashesascendancy as well!
Having just played Dredge, my partner and I loved the art and theme of #DeepRegrets. We’ll probably stick with the reduced work week to keep the game from running on next time.
Good solo gaming as well this last month with #Dicemancy, #Deckers, and #Tend!

Back to work today, but wishing we were still playing games at #GenCon! We played 16 games, 15 of which were new to us. We ended up purchasing 4 of them after playing (Hanami, Six Sojourns, Root, Grey Lune). There were 2 games we played and would have gotten but that were sold out (Entropy, The Crew: Journey). #BoardGames #GenCon2026 #bgstats

Spielemonat Juli
Abgesehen von der spielelosen letzten Woche, bin ich mit dem Juli sehr zufrieden. Obwohl wir uns dieses Mal auf unsere "alten" Lieblinge konzentriert haben, waren doch 4 für uns Neue dabei, die bis auf Mixtape auch alle überzeugt haben; allen voran Septima.
So darf es gerne weitergehen, zumal wir viele schöne Spielabende mit unseren Freunden hatten. 🥰 -

👀 New colour thanks to the new Race for the Galaxy Xeno Counterstrike expansion!
We also started Ticket to Ride Legacy, rediscovered Akropolis, AND played a lot of Bomb Busters & Take Time on the last two days!

July’s #BoardGames were 28 plays of 23 different games. In a surprising twist the top two - Bombbusters & Eternal Decks - are both coop games that proved hits with my Tuesday night group who are usually the super competitive medium-heavy Euro game type. As much as I enjoy those I like to puzzle out a coop from time to time as well.
Unexpected victory in my first play of Stomp The Plank at the bottom there too!

Der letzte Monat war wieder sehr abwechslungsreich. Und da waren einige schöne Dinge dabei.
Mir macht das Labyrinth Chronicles viel Spaß, allerdings ist die deutsche Übersetzung echt verbesserbar.
Pandemie Die Heilung mal wieder auf den Tisch gepackt und finde es immer noch sooo gut. Zum Glück haben wir die Erweiterung. Auch La Boca hat nichts von seinem Charme verloren. Und der Große Wurf ist immer noch toll.

Dank Urlaub hatten wir einen volleren Spielemonat Juli. Die Kinder haben Flip 7 für sich entdeckt. Nett in großen Gruppen und als Absacker, aber 1 Woche durchgängig war etwa viel für mich 😅 Aber wir haben auch Forbidden Jungle ein paar Runden gespielt, was mir auch gut gefallen hat. Außerdem sind wir nun nach schleppendem Anfang bei Bomb Busters auf der Zielgeraden (Mission 52)

I took some vacations so fewer heavy games this month.
New to me were: Russian Railroads (solid worker placement), Incan Gold (quite fun), dnup (similar to Scout), and Flip 7 (I don't get the praise yet)
I taught Istanbul and Jaipur.

Besser spät als nie: Die #BGStats vom Juni. Zur Zeit kommen wir recht wenig zum spielen und haben verhältnismäßig wenig Spielerunden. In zwei dieser Runden kommt weiterhin #BombBusters gerne auf den Tisch. #NebelÜberCarcassone ist auf der letzten Stufe echt extrem schwer. Schön, dass #DieTavernenImTiefenThal, #ArcheNova und #DieWeißeBurg es dennoch mal wieder auf den Tisch geschafft haben. Verstehe bei den Tavernen nicht, warum man es nur noch so selten hört. #Brettspiele
