In the troubleshooting proces I came across some ugly discourse around the game. The Steam forum is always a great place to encounter capital G "Gamers" who have to save the world from the dangerous woke mind virus. And these fine lads have found out that #SweetBabyInc helped on The Great Circle.

A game literally about a guy beating up Nazis and other fascists. But I guess they didn't get to that part, huh?

The conspiracy theory this new harassment campaign is based upon makes absolutely no sense and clearly shows that its followers either fundamentally misunderstand how consultancy works or simply ignore all evidence because they just desperately need someone to project their fear and anger on.

External consultants are approached and hired to support companies e.g. when developing the narrative for a game, meaning that they can make *suggestions*, but nothing else. The decision to adapt or reject these suggestions is, of course, entirely up to the client. Hence, a company like Sweet Baby Inc. couldn't force anything into/onto anyone, even if they wanted to.

(And based on a consultancy call I had with them while working as the narrative lead on "Star Life", I can confirm that this isn't the team's intention, at all. We wanted to hire them to give input on our ideas and they were very careful to ask detailed questions to make sure they'd stay true to OUR vision for the game.)
