New #LetsPlay! #TalesofKenzera is a #metroidvania made by Surgent Studios and EA - Electronic Arts. It's heavily rooted in #Bantu #legends and other #African #culture. This caught my eye a while back and I got it the same time as #Kuntewiktuk. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I'm enjoying playing it!
In our first episode, a young #shaman grieving the loss of his #father appeals to the #god of #death for aid in bringing him back.

A very well done MetroidVania.
I just hope that Zau isn’t this dense through the whole game.

Si l'univers et le message de #TalesofKenzera sont une réussite, c'est moins le cas de son gameplay, comme vient nous l'expliquer @Shift aujourd'hui :

The other day I played a little bit of Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and I quite enjoyed it!
The only thing that gets in the way of liking it even more, though, is that they kept constantly interrupting exploration with bits of dialogue. Like, every minute of gameplay would get interrupted by a dialogue scene, and I felt that if only they let me explore more by myself and only engage in conversations when I feel like it, the game would flow better.

I’ve been taking a short break from #gaming to #read. Unusual for me. I’m a slow reader, and I happen to be reading a large (for me anyway) series; the #Silo series. The #AppleTV show turned me on to the books and I've been enjoying them.
I finished the first book a while back and am a little over 2/3 through the 2nd book. I may have to jump back to games for #TalesOfKenzera though. I also decided I'll finish the #Trine series after that.
