The Red Thread Games team has been nothing but awesome since I got to interact with them. For the latest Dustborn update, they kindly included my other name on the in-game posters, as a way to say thanks for countering the hate from people who felt the game was too progressive for their liking.

J'ai lancé le jeu Dustborn, l'histoire me rappelle pas mal Road96 pour le moment, puisqu'il s'agit de traverser la frontière et que l'ambiance est très tendue politiquement. (yay quel dépaysement)

C'est la première fois que je vois un tel gameplay : il faut réagir dans les conversations via des choix, et pour chaque choix qui va être "dit", on peut lire les pensées du personnage en amont. Je trouve ça assez bien fichu, et évidemment il faut faire attention au timing parce qu'on ne peut pas parler de n'importe quoi n'importe quand donc certains choix peuvent disparaitre avec le temps.
Un peu comme dans la vraie vie où la conversation a un rythme.

En parlant de rythme, il y a un aspect "musique" dans le jeu où il faut jouer de la musique en rythme (seulement 4 touches à gérer sur la mélodie), c'est assez chouette.

Ma seule difficulté pour l'instant, c'est que les voix sont en anglais et j'ai mis les sous titres FR, alors parfois ça fait beaucoup de choses en même temps :
- les pensées intérieures du personnages
- les discussions qui déroulent
- les choix possibles
- les pensées à propos des choix
- MES PROPRES PENS2ES mdr

Ils jouent aussi beaucoup de la DA "comics", puisque selon les choix qu'on fait, ensuite on peut lire la BD que ça forme.

I didn't even know that #RedThreadGames made a new game until I saw a #PCGamer article about it. (The comments section was filled up with conservative weirdos as it's apparently their latest #CultureWar target.)

Tried out the demo and apparently this "worst game ever" is a very solid Telltale-esque #AdventureGame with #RhythmGame and #brawler portions.

And, yeah, it contains all those things brainworm'd regressives hate: #PoC, #queer and #BodyDiversity rep.
