Minneapolis’s Babes in Toyland were one of the first riot grrl bands to gain a national audience. “Bruise Violet” (https://tinyurl.com/3sykh7k3) / No Strobe: (https://tinyurl.com/2p9n2kf2) is from their album “Fontanelle” (https://tinyurl.com/yc3rfz5t). Unfortunately infighting & drugs left the band on an on/off basis from their late 1980s inception to their 2001 breakup. They reunited in 2014 but similar issues led to their final 2020 breakup
