    I'm having a little genre whiplash right now 😹 because right before #ILikeToWatch I was watching THE LONG CALL, a #MatthewVenn mystery by #AnnCleeves (author of the VERA and SHETLAND series) set in an isolated North Devon, UK coastal town, and one of the supporting characters was a church elder played by Martin Shaw (a\k\a #GeorgeGently ).

    So I went from hardcore #TVMysteries to hardcore dance remixes 🤣🤣🤣

    Leeds-based band The Pale Saints featuring the talents of original vocalist for Lush Meriel Barham and later the journeywoman bassist Colleen Browne. “Blue Flower” (youtu.be/hazYYBSdTeI?si=foJGvc) / NO STROBE (youtu.be/4XULlC06IrU?si=59jGwQ) is from 1992’s “In Ribbons” (youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2p). The band called it quits in 1996 but every member continues to make music behind the scenes to this day.

Unfortunately, severe infighting would lead to their sudden 2012 breakup.
