one thing i /didn't/ like is that everyone's player avatar is exactly the same except for the color of your 'pants', which you can change in the game--and there's no way to set a nametag or whatever. so it's very hard to tell who is talking or who is near you etc when you're playing with a larger group of people. i didn't see that as making the game more fun, unlike some of the other choices. #bigwalk #videogames

I started #MortalShellTwo last night. 

Only put an hour or two into it but initial impressions are strong. Movement feels great, combat is enjoyable and I wasn't having too much trouble engaging with the shell system liked I'd originally feared. 

The map/world feels nice too. It looks good and I'm having a reasonably time wondering off and exploring. 

I really like 'cleansing' the shrines and appreciate that there's little dungeons dotted around to find and delve into. 

Lack of a 'stake-of-marika' alternative is a gripe I guess, I'm not sure why these games haven't started to incorporate that feature in. 

Fast travelling from the main hub to the world is....well quite a thing. I've only used it once or twice so far but it's kind of amazing.
