Visually, #PoorThings is #Barbie on really good #acid, but overall storywise they're both #feminism 101, one for kids, the other for adults, in terms of that shared aspect of their plots.
I really enjoyed and recommend both very much.
They are both great eye candy (and great fun), and that's the basic foundation of all #cinema, which the grumpy old white men conveniently "forget" when slamming the #blockbusters they don't like.
