"Des conditions de travail particulièrement pénibles sont soulignées : nombre de jeunes femmes enquêtées insistent sur les horaires décalés, fractionnés, la dureté des conditions de travail, les contrats de travail non conformes à la loi, la faiblesse des rémunérations… Pour pallier ces réalités, une partie des jeunes femmes se tournent vers les métiers de la sécurité (police, armée, pompiers) et y trouvent une certaine stabilité de l’emploi ainsi que des revenus plus constants."

Il faut être en couple hétérosexuel pour se conformer, pour faire la « preuve de sa valeur sur le marché affectif et relationnel ».
