"Il est difficile de parler de « virilité » dans l’absolu. Ce qui est considéré comme viril dépend des milieux sociaux et de l’âge. Dans mon enquête, « être viril », c’est le fait d’affirmer son corps et sa force physique, d’être dans l’insulte sexiste. Ce sont surtout les plus jeunes qui ancrent ainsi la virilité dans le corps. Pour les plus âgés, la virilité peut passer par l’intégration professionnelle. Finalement, ce qui est défini comme viril est toujours défini par opposition au « féminin » ; donc être viril, c’est l’obligation de ne pas se « féminiser »."

"La domination sur les filles s’exprime de multiples façons. A l’adolescence elle se manifeste notamment par le contrôle direct de leur sexualité (ou de tout signe extérieur de sexualité, inscrit dans la tenue vestimentaire, la mobilité géographique, et toute forme de communication avec les garçons). Elles font ainsi l’objet de « réputations » qui les classent dans deux catégories radicalement opposées: les « filles bien » et les « putes »."

#Genre was maybe the wrong word to use before (not sure if I should go back and change it?) the geographic label is more just a "category" that overlaps with genre and style.

But that isn't simple either… it could be a language category if not for the English Language band "Emigrate" featuring #RichardKruspe from #Rammstein … and one track from "Oomph!" in English

and it doesn't work as a national category because it features #Nachtmar from #Austria and #Laibach from #Slovenia (both a bit problematic) but at least they didn't include the bands from the USA that use some #German in their lyrics? (often less problematic, just not very German)

maybe "German Metal" works as a "theme"?

I'm not sure if "Arab metal" works as a category at all? Maybe "Arabic metal" including a few related tracks like that "German metal" list?
