Hello again and welcome to another #throwbackthursday post! Here is my Martha Moo as a baby at my gran’s house. Ain’t she a cutie?? My gran used to keep a box of toys for the dogs, and she’d have Martha and Merlin following her, very carefully so they didn’t knock into her and hurt her, to where she kept them in a nook under the stairs. It was so sweet to watch 🥰 and it only feels like 2 minutes ago, yet it’s actually 10 years ago! Crazy…

#happysunday everybody. Hope everyone is having a relaxing #sunday. This is what my Sunday looks like, one of my favourite books, The Copper Crown (Book 1 of The Tales of Aeron, part of The Keltiad) by Patrica Kennealy-Morrison, who sadly died just under a year ago, a cup of tea in my beloved Little Mermaid cup and a couple of honey and oat biscuits. It’s a ‘pleasure read’ day kinda day…not for reviews, no new stuff to digest, just an old favourite that you know back to front!
Do you have any favourite books or book series that you can slip into for a ‘comfort read’? Some others of mine are anything by Steve McHugh but especially the Hellequin Universe, and the virtually everything by Kelley Armstrong.

Ahhh my favourite flower, the #rose. I think this #photograph is so beautiful, and I also think that my husband is a very #talented man!
Roses, especially #RedRoses remind me of my Grandad Singy. He’d always buy my Gran red roses, and his beautiful gardens were always full of gorgeous roses of every colour. Sadly, we’d lost Grandad by the time we got married, but I brought him with me to the wedding with my red rose #bouquet and one of the songs in the wedding, Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller, which he used to sing to me and my Gran.
Ian couldn’t find a red rose in my dad’s garden, but he found me a #pinkrose and took this beautiful #photo for me, because he’s a wonderful #husband 🥰😍💜

A sad #throwbackthursday today. Here's
my dad's dog Max, who died last April. He wasn't an old dog, he was just 5 years old, but he got cancer and no treatment worked for him. He died within weeks of showing symptoms, and went from diagnosis to death within a week and a half. We are still heartbroken about it, probably more than we were for the loss of some of our other babies, probably because he was so young, and it was so sudden. He went from running and jumping like a bellend, to deathly ill within the space of mere weeks.Please cheer me up with tales of your babies in the replies!

I needed to sleep for a few hours the other day, as #fibromyalgia is currently kicking my arse yet again, so while I slept my husband decided to do an impromptu photoshoot with some of my favourite #funkopops, as he wanted to play with some new lights. So I woke up to a lovely surprise of some new photos! This is #davidtennant as the #10thdoctor, my favourite #Doctor from #doctorwho, in awesome #funkopop form! I found it really interesting that even in Funk Pop form, #thedoctor is able to have real presence and gravity.
I’ll possibly post the other Funko Pop tomorrow for #womancrushwednesday, cos she’s beautiful even as a tiny figure with a massive head!

I restarted it, pretty much from scratch, at the beginning of May, and I've poured everything I have into it - leaving me in a fibromyalgia flare again 🥴. I'm not expecting to make any money from it, but I would love more readers…and I think it's pretty good and people would enjoy it (getting me to like my own stuff is usually pretty much impossible, so hopefully it's not terrible!), if they gave it a go! Here's a bonus book review of a paranormal romance novella in the Elemental Legacy series by @ehunterwrites, one of my favourite new (I'd owned the first book in the universe for ages but, you know, the massive TBR pile ee, so didn't read it until January this year) author. This novella continues the story of Chloe and Gavin from earlier books and novellas in the series, and features other favourite characters from the Elemental Universe for you to enjoy.

Anyone else obsessed with stationery? I cannot get enough. Pens, notebooks, journals, stickers, washi tape, sticky notes, clips, pencil cases, anything at all & I’ll be mesmerised! We used to ‘personalise’ our pencil cases when I was at school. We’d use compasses to scratch designs into our tin ones, or use eraser fluid to paint designs on our fabric ones then colour over them 😆 then we’d do it all over again on new ones 2 weeks later!
Here are some of my current favourites…the 3 cute fountain pens are Kaweco, I also have a couple of Lamy pens in the tub. The Starry Night notebook is an Amazon bargain from a few months ago, as are the rose gold animal paper clips and the sticky notes. The desk tidy and pen cup are from The Journal Shop, which has some lovely items available.
Anyone else obsessed? Please tell me I’m not alone!
