Her ears flipped back and slightly out is her happy expression. REALLY HAPPY is when they're also curled up into little tubes..
Lusha can mean Loup (wolf) + -usha (Polish affectionate suffix to names)
.. But also 'ears' in Russian apparently.

Lusha in the #snow One of my fave pictures of her.
She's like a husky, completely at home in the snow. The first snowfall she goes NUTS running in circles, and jumping headfirst into drifts.
Normally we get 3 months of snow, but this year was so mild: 3 days, and wet mush within hours 😕
