In the #1970s my #grandad was on the committee that picked these #modern #chairs for the #Catholic club. On the day of his funeral there was one, broken in the corner, which I bought for a tenner donation to #cafod. Today I found the perfect spot for my grandad chair. It took me 6 years to really get it right and to not want to cry every time I looked at it. But this year I am going to appreciate its beauty.

It’s very good to be a Grandad and one the greatest joys of this time of the year is spending time with these four - having the leisure to really stand back and marvel at their accomplishments, their astonishing rate of growth and development

Ahhh my favourite flower, the #rose. I think this #photograph is so beautiful, and I also think that my husband is a very #talented man!

Roses, especially #RedRoses remind me of my Grandad Singy. He’d always buy my Gran red roses, and his beautiful gardens were always full of gorgeous roses of every colour. Sadly, we’d lost Grandad by the time we got married, but I brought him with me to the wedding with my red rose #bouquet and one of the songs in the wedding, Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller, which he used to sing to me and my Gran.

Ian couldn’t find a red rose in my dad’s garden, but he found me a #pinkrose and took this beautiful #photo for me, because he’s a wonderful #husband 🥰😍💜
