This morning I became afraid that Bodhisattva (Bodhi, my black #cat) will die soon, because I had the dream where I’m trying to find him (he was lost for 3-4 months as a kitten, after I adopted him from the Humane), but in the dream, it wasn’t him I worried about, but a new dog. There were (as usual) strikingly individual dogs and cats in the dream, going in and out of the house, the woods, with me calling out there to this lost dog: while forgetting her name. Spots? Gina? Spotty? Jenny? Bodhi came and went, along with other cats I know (Moshe, Tati, and Jazzy), but the new puppy/cat was lost. he/she had Spots. There was tiny white kitten my sister said, keep THAT one. I couldn’t believe all these #cats and #dogs in one place were peaceful, not fighting. Because the dream occurred around the #RainbowBridge which I’m grateful I can access via #dreams. That’s a blessing. Bodhi has lost at least 5 pounds and couldn’t stop puking this morning. He’s sick. He’s about 8 years old, maybe 7. My little cat Slimy passed last night. She found us about 16 years ago, crying from a car wheel well covered in engine oil. Little wildling knew right away she wanted this ‘indoor life’.

Spent most of COVID on my lap and the past ten years sleeping snuggled against me. Most polite girl, she would gently tap-tap me when she wanted something.

I’ll miss her more than words can tell. But I know she had a good one, a happy, warm life. #cats #rainbowbridge
