Claudio Piccoli is a talented photographer who has shared how he took the amazing shots in this video:
☺️ all the pics were taken with a Nikon D5 or a Nikon Z6
☺️ Used a Nikkon 300mm f/2,8 at 2,8 to compress the scene and have a natural real bokeh (out-of-focus blur).
☺️Used the Af-c in continuous mode to take one or two pictures and choose the better one.
☺️ Never use a manual focus prepared before on an object since you never know when and where the dog will assume the best position compared to the object.
☺️ Always focus in Af-c on the eyes of the dog. I prefer so use its left eye. I never track the nose.
☺️ At all times assure a safe path for the dog.
☺️ Shoot almost in backlight all the time to be sure to not have a flat frame.
☺️ Always wait before releasing the shutter button, in order to understand how the dog moves and be sure to focus the eyes correctly. -
