Imagine visiting your boyfriend's village for the first time.

Last night, something crawled across my attic floor.
I heard it dragging something heavy.
Then came three knocks.
I knocked back.
Everything went quiet.
This morning, I found a note pushed through the gap beneath my bedroom door.
“Stop answering. It thinks you're me.”

You're home alone. It's 2 a.m.
Someone knocks on your bedroom door.
Then your phone lights up with a message from your own number:
"Don't answer it."
What's more terrifying: whoever is behind the door, or whoever sent that message?
