Thinking back to that time in Grade 1, living in early 90’s Georgia… when my school made me wear a dress for picture day. I cried. I hated it. I was not happy.
So I did something about it. :gooseknife:
I tucked my soccer jersey into my backpack and changed clothes when I got to school. I sat in front of the camera man, angry, silent, and he was speechless. I have that photo somewhere. I absolutely refused to perform femininity for them that day.
That 7 year old kid still lives inside of me today. Defiant. Tough. Proud. Butch. :gaysparkles:
