Dissatisfied with this, more and more researchers want to keep control of the publication process themselves. They are opting for community-driven initiatives. Nicht-kommerziell ist juristisch vermintes Gelände, auch in Deutschland gab es erschreckende Urteile (alles, was nicht rein privat ist, sei kommerziell). Deshalb benutzt z. B. #Wikipedia als gemeinnütziges Projekt keine Inhalte mit Nicht-Kommerziell-Lizenzen. Persönlich nutze ich und rate zu CC BY-SA, also #ShareAlike, damit das, was erzeugt wird, weiter frei und offen bleibt; aber bewusst ohne das NC für #NonCommercial, damit eine (ggf. durch Werbung oder Spenden finanzierte) gemeinnützige Verwendung offensichtlich möglich ist. Wenn jemand damit sogar Geld verdienen kann, super! Aber unwahrscheinlich...
