I recently encountered smart glasses in real life for the first time. I didn't even realise the person was wearing them until they showed me what they could do.
It left me with a difficult question: Would I ask someone to take off their smart glasses before coming into my home for dinner?

I've been following threads recently in which people I have a great deal of respect for here have openly aired their views on the importance of consent. It's specifically been about sharing of images of (mostly) women in states of undress. The images have often been posted elsewhere on the internet and they get reposted in the Fediverse without the explicit consent of the person to whom the image belongs.
