Man, having watched the Packers/Cowboys game over air, I can say there's some mighty intense political ads being beamed. Thanks to all the station mergers and consolidation going on, it's easy to see each party's true colors. The right's on a full red death march for control of the country. It's a Halloween fright fest, from an angry mom (Miriam) seething over a Twisted take on Talarico, to Tiffany and Steil approving the passive aggressive messaging in their ads targeting their opponents. No facts, no solutions, just hate-fueled fear mongering from Texas to Wisconsin, oh my!

🔤 TIL: The viral passage that claims only a word’s first and last #letters need to stay in place is a partial truth, not a rule.
Psychologists explain that skilled readers recognize #words as patterns using familiarity, word shape, and sentence context. The original #meme works because its words are short, predictable, and barely scrambled.

🧬 NEW: A #Paris region sighting of a #bumblebee-like insect not seen in #France for 150 years points to a larger problem in #biodiversity #science.
