As the Floreana Mockingbird only occurs on Isla Champion off the coast of Floreana I'm posting these heavily cropped out of focus photographs of the bird. As you're not allowed to land on the island the photographs were taken from a Zodiac inflatable with 14 other birders.

Observations using the newly upgraded human-occupied vehicle #Alvin are the first of a deep-sea #CoralReef in the #GalápagosMarineReserve. The reefs are located at depths between 400-600 m, atop previously unmapped #seamounts.
