#pareidolie hier après-midi, au fond de la carrière au pied du radar, bien qu'elle soit entièrement à sec, j'ai vu les dents de la mer… qui laissaient de marbre, ou alors à peine étonnée pour l'une d'entre elles, au moins 2 personnes.
Les voyez-vous aussi sur cette face d'un rocher habituellement immergé ?#pareidolia Yesterday afternoon, at the quarry at the foot of the radar tower—even though it was completely dry—I saw *Jaws*… which left at least two people completely unimpressed, or perhaps just slightly surprised by one of them.
Can you see them too on this side of a rock that’s usually submerged? -

Warum erkennen wir in Wolken, Felsen oder zufälligen Mustern so oft Tiere?
Dieser Frage sind wir in unserer Studie zur visuellen Pareidolie nachgegangen – und heute ist dazu ein Beitrag im Forschungsmagazin Horizonte erschienen.
Besonders freut mich, dass eine Aufgabenvariation, die ich während meines Doktorats entwickelt habe, zu diesen neuen Befunden geführt hat.
Die Arbeit entstand gemeinsam mit Magdalena Camenzind, Tobias Nef, Urs P. Mosimann, René Müri und Aleksandra Eberhard-Moscicka.
