I photographed these funky fungi next to my woodcutting area- the ground is covered with debris as this is the spot where I break branches to use as kindling.
I noticed someone (bit reptilian?) looking back at me from the right of the photo.. This is the Time of Spirits season, so maybe a face from the other side? ;) (rotated and sharpened final pic)

Sometimes, it's rewarding to take a close look at the things around you.
This decaying piece of bark with its attendant lichen turned out to be harbouring an old Dragon's head. Can anyone else see it?
I only noticed it when I sorted through my photos after returning from Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Much too late ever to find it again I should think!
