I have long been drawn to making #art that is dark and shady which causes a lot of headaches as an #artist because darkness is a tricky thing to deal with.
I have long been obsessed with using black in #paintings and it took me some time to work out how to paint deep, inky blacks without them becoming patchy - which can happen in #OilPaints because darker blacks tend to have a high oil content.
I had a print of my "Burger & Pizza's" photo framed and I am pleased with the result. It is framed under glass but I wonder if framing it without glass would be even better. It is a possibility with contemporary #photography and it might be something I'll explore in the future. I also like glossy photos and the combination of glossy and black can make a reflection nightmare!
Anyway, I love my print!
