I'm shipping some stuff I inherited to England and the shipper wants me to grant power of attorney, witnessed by a notary public.

We don't have notaries in the UK. Also the document may have problems in general for a person not resident in the US.

Hopefully the shipper will have advice, but maybe somebody here knows what to do? I can get a signature witnessed, but the part where I say I'm an individual bound by the laws of the state of _____ [fill in the blank]____seems problematic.

My order from #OtherworldMiniatures arrived today (07 August 2024). It was shipped from the UK to the US in surprisingly good time.

I got a Marilith demon, a trio of spiders, and a Grendel figure. The Marilith came in four parts (body, tail, and two unattached arms), but the others are all single-piece castings.

The spiders might pose a basing challenge for me; only their spindly legs touch the ground.

I received a notice early this morning that a package I ordered from the UK is shipping. No idea how long it will take to arrive, but it's shipping.

I placed the order on 10 July 2024. It was for a miniature manufacturer (#OtherWorldMiniatures) closing/retirement sale with everything on the site 50% off so I knew it would be awhile to ship. I missed the Pig-faced #Orcs, they were sold out when I heard about the sale.
