Test flight using Quantum Sensor based navigation = success!
"MagNav" employs quantum sensors to detect variations in Earth’s natural magnetic field and create a "map" that aircraft can use to determine their position without depending on satellite or GPS signals.
The test = an Embraer 170 flew for 4 hours and 23 minutes over the Pacific Ocean, from Seattle to southern Alaska and back.
