  3. PRODUCTHEAD: Organisational norms, behaviours and business models

» Open and sustainable dialogue across roles leads to greater organisation coherence

» An organisation’s business model solidifies over time

» A new venture with a different model should ideally be pursued separately to the main org

  4. #enshitification "…is not a story about bad people. It is a story about structure. #Platforms mediate two-sided markets, can reallocate value between sides at zero cost, and once both sides are locked in, the platform’s incentives shift from serving either of them to extracting from both. The diverging of platform interests from user interests is not a failure of the platform. It is the #businessmodel.
“We just need a better platform” is not a #strategy."

When you stop consuming content that makes you feel worse about yourself, the attention economy loses its grip. When you stop medicating spiritual problems with material solutions, the cycle breaks.”

  14. #COUCHSURFING YES changed to #subscription #businessmodel in May #2020 so it was during the #COVID-19 pandemic, so that's a bad example for me to say (as it's an ultimatum to subscribe) but people STILL TO THIS DAY PAY and signup !

And to to #couchers surfing because #wordofmouth or active encouragement on other platforms DOESN'T EXIST MUCH!

So if any of you have a decent contact for #couchers - then encourage them to talk here / do the people work!
