🚢 This week, a group of #MPIM scientists visited #HapagLloyd here in #Hamburg to explore common interests & learn about career paths outside academia. ⛅ We learned about how #WeatherForecasts are used to route container ships safely & efficiently, discussed the role of #AI in automating routine tasks, & got a tour of Hapag Lloyd's historic headquarters!
