Postal services in Japan, Switzerland, Australia, the U.K., and many other European countries are suspending shipping to the U.S. because of a crackdown on small-dollar imports by the Trump administration. The "de minimis" loophole allowed goods worth less than $800 to enter the U.S. duty free, but President Donald Trump signed an executive order to abolish the practice, effective Friday. Goods coming into the U.S. thereafter will be slapped with country-specific tariffs, and many national postal services, plus DHL, one of the biggest delivery companies in the world, have decided it's preferable to avoid the confusion and stop accepting parcels bound for the U.S. instead. I will be closing orders on Wednesday 13th August for the foreseeable future due to Trump suddenly ending De Minimis.Until USPS can collect customs fees there is a risk you could be charged $80 per shipment, and I’m not prepared to take that risk on your behalf.

Still trying to work out the particulars but looks like either a customs fee of 10-15% added to all orders when they enter the US or a flat rate $80-200 fee (!) per shipment to the consumer for first 6 months. And just in time for the busy Halloween/xmas period when I usually do well 😅 so if you’re in the US maybe order now to avoid future tariffs!
