I lost my phone two months ago, in a location with poor signal. To find, I had to log in to my google account on a friend's phone, which required me to call my mom at night to confirm the login with her email. That required internet connection on my lost phone, my friend's phone and my mother's phone.
Yesterday, I lost my phone again. This time, I had #fmd installed. Two text messages were needed to find it, and no internet connection required. Total livesaver.
