FSRS для Obsidian: помнить всё
Обсидиан называют «вторым мозгом». Чтобы он им стал, одних связей недостаточно — нужна память . Я сделал плагин интервального повторения на современном алгоритме FSRS . Он запоминает что и когда вы учили, предсказывает что вы вот-вот забудете, и показывает какая тема даётся тяжелее всего. Все данные хранятся локально в ваших .md файлах — ничего не уходит на сервера.

I have a love-hate relationship with Anki.
I've been using it for ages. If I look on my file system, the oldest Anki related file that I have is from 2008... and I'm sure I started using it before this.
I love Anki's repetition method.
I hate its drill sergeant mentality.
"What? You *think* you little worm can go on vacation? Wait until you come back. I'm going to have you do a marathon 24-hour session, maggot!"
😩
"What are you talking about, man? You just don't get the Anki philosophy, man!"
No, I do get it.
I think the return on investment is the best when you are a rank beginner.
Recently I've given up using those sophisticated Spanish decks. First, they all contain mistakes, some worse than others, and there's the problem of synonyms. The more complex the idea expressed by a sentence, the more ways there are to express it. In English, think about the difference between "he hit me in the face" and "he punched me in the face." In most situations, these mean exactly the same thing.
I'm still using Anki for Spanish, but it is in a reduced capacity. I have a deck for conjugations that I created from a database, and I have a deck of "useful expression," also created by me. That's it.
My main Spanish practice now is to listen to songs in Spanish. I go over the lyrics. I make notes about those expressions I don't readily understand, and I listen to the songs over and over.
I expect I'm going to start a musical thread in the fediverse, in Spanish of course, about the songs that I pick. I'll edit this message with a link when I do this.

For #LearningJapanese I have an #anki deck full of Heisig's #Kanji meanings - showing the keyword so I have to draw the Kanji. I've been using it for literally years, and I still mess it up a lot.
It occurred to me that maybe I keep making mistakes because my deck is one-sided, so I decided to get a second deck that shows me the Kanji and forces me to identify the keyword.
Unfortunately, the second deck is from a later edition of the book, often with different keywords 🤦

Ah, I was mixing up 憩 qì (have a rest) and 栖 qī (dwell, stay)!
They don’t look alike at all, but their pronunciation is close and their meaning is kind of close too.
I’ve added the hanzi to my card. I add the two characters that I mix up, and clicking on each of them reveal its pronunciation, meaning and words that contain it (only the one I already know and are already in Anki).
I’ve been doing this for some months now, and it works well! It’s one of the best additions I made to Anki recently (I mean, it suits my way of learning, I know it’s not really how Anki should work.)

(See above for context.)
Woohoo bonus pics I missed the first time around.
That definitely ain't pizza. At best, that's the ingredients of some pizza. What's going to happen? She eats it, and then poops a pizza???

So I'm checking out Anki decks and I land on a deck that suggests adding pictures to the flashcards.
It gives an example with "I eat pizza." Except that the picture is not one of someone eating **pizza**.
That is... unless... in that person's country they put pizza through a blender, and drop the result into a bowl.

100-day Anki streak! :frog_celebrate:
Last year, I also had my streak intact until about the same time, and then I broke my elbow, and I stopped reviewing Anki because I was so tired and demotivated. While I did go back to it eventually, I was never able to start a new streak after that.
Let’s see how it goes this year, but so far so good!

In case anyone is interested in becoming *very* good at #connect4 , 2swap made a "human-memorizable" perfect solve of it, along with an #anki deck to memorize it 😂
The fine print is: it's *a lot* to memorize, and nobody has memorized it yet — he just published the video introducing it. But after watching the video, I'm confident it's doable

I use mainly this #Anki deck, which combines cards from several decks in a unified form: https://media.digitalwords.net/anki/mega/fin.apkg
For people who know how to read grammars or for people who don’t but can teach themselves through looking up terms they don’t know yet I’d recommend reading the Wikipedia articles about the Finnish language, which are well written:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_orthography

80 days of Anki streak! :ablobsunglasses:
Yellow is for days when I reviewed my cards but didn’t learn any new cards.
Light green is for days when I reviewed + learn my quota of 5 new cards.
Dark green is for days when I also added new cards.I’m not struggling too much to complete my reviews, but my goal is to avoid those yellow days. I added so many new cards at once during Lantern Rite that I was all set for a while, but lately I’m having a hard time keeping up. I’m basically adding the 5 new cards of the day just before starting my reviews :blob_smilesweat:

I’ve exhausted all my new cards from Lantern Rite, so I’ve added some from Nod-Krai world quests. I added 20 cards, which felt like a lot, but it’s only going to last 4 days, then I’ll need to add new ones again :blob_dead:
