Trochę mi glupio się chwalić w tak projesjonalnym gronie, ale jak na amatora udały mi się dwie fajne rzeczy: podpiecie mojej (na razie Claudowej) załogi do repo na Forgejo - baza dokumentów z kontrolą wersji, runnery na oddzielnym serwerku, BBS zaemulowany na gicie i nawet shell-over-git. Druga to świeżo odpalone konta dla wszystkich person na Delta Chacie, plus grupa wewnętrzna, a niebawem i otwarta dla gości, chcących porozmawiać ze StatkiemUmyslem.

Far better #OpenSource alternatives exist today, and aren't all that hard to set up, for the sufficiently motivated geek: #PHPBB, #Discourse, #Flarum, #Prosody, #Deltachat, #Zulip, etc. Surely one of them, or something similar, is acceptable, given each of them, in their unique strength.

I say 600MB of RAM is passable because my cheap on-prem server has 16GB of it

Er hat leider keine Ahnung wie #DeltaChat wirklich funktioniert. 😉 Dass DeltaChat über eine spezielle Konfiguration läuft die sämtliche relevanten #Metadaten in der Verschlüsselten Bereich verschiebt ist ihm offenbar nicht bekannt.

Im allgemein ist er eh komplett beratungsresistent bei allem was nicht pro #Threema ist. Selbst @threemaapp / #threemaapp distanziert sich von ihm. 🙈

I've long been fascinated by the #mesh network #reticulum & the #LXMF messaging protocol built atop it—especially for areas w/o reliable Internet, or where govt. blackouts occur. I strongly believe bridges from LXMF to the open social web & open messaging protocols like #DeltaChat are strategic. I'd love to connect with others sharing similar thoughts.
