Und bei #Threema finde ich noch wichtig, dass die Threema-ID ans Smartphone gebunden ist. So ist eine Installation mit derselben ID auf das einzelne Gerät reduziert, man kann den #Messenger nicht parallel nutzen.
Nur mit der Desktop-App geht es, da die sich mit der App auf dem Mobilgerät verbindet.

Maybe @yifei could update us about the status of #DeltaChat in #Debian? I can see that it's on salsa [1], and I see a wishlist item for the #DeltaTouch client [2], including a comment about #LibDeltaChat being prepared for Debian. Debianisation will be one step in making DeltaChat more mainstream.

@ati1 @linmob No, haven't had time to troubleshoot that yet, but while searching, I found there's already an open issue in the #DeltaChat Github repo. I'm using the Flatpak. Tested the #Tauri app on desktop but not close to ready yet looks like. #DeltaTouch is only for UbuntuTouch I thought.

@lns Should but they never will, with good reason. They don't really need to, for email encryption at least there's #DeltaChat that non-technical people have a better chance of learning. Yes, it only uses a subset of #PGP called #Autocrypt, but if you really want to use PGP, there are much better tools than #GPG like: #Thunderbird, #Mailvelope and #Kleopatra. I know some of these are front-ends for GPG.

Mein Wunsch wurde noch nicht erfüllt. Läuft schon über 2 Jahre.
