Von der #Elektro #Ente über den #Smart #2 bis hin zu neuen #XPeng und #Leapmotor Modellen ist alles dabei, aber gerade die Chinesen wirken für uns immer ähnlicher.

I have just signed up to @zeitkapsl to test their photo and video backup service. I have been using #Ente for almost 3 years but it is always good to see what else is available out there!
First impressions of the website? It is clean and well laid out. They use Codeberg, rather than Github which is always a plus. European provider with hosting in Europe. And of course E2EE which is the standard nowadays.
They have Win/Mac/Linux downloads plus Flatpak. Android and iOS apps too. On mobile i would prefer an apk file rather than being reliant on Google Play. Or maybe i missed the direct download?
They use Openstreetmap for location data and i really liked this reasoning for not using certain payment methods from their FAQ - (see attached picture)
Let's see how it goes from here!
