After a long dry spell, rain is forecast for the next three days.
The last few days we have had the sound of combine harvesters in the distance. First on one side of our house then on the others.
Wheat in the fields is ready to #harvest and the local #farmers have working all hours to get the wheat harvested and deposited at the local Felleskjøpet silo before the rain comes.
The fields near our house are now all stubble dotted with straw bale "traktoregg".
