It's Friday morning, and the garden is already awake. Our young farmers are finishing the week's last jobs: watering the nursery beds, tying up tall plants, and picking whatever is ready before the weekend rest begins. A week of small habits like these is how skills grow. Nobody sees the quiet work, but it all shows up at harvest time. Happy Friday, everyone.

What if we could grow vegetables without soil? We're getting ready to test hydroponics with our young farmers: plants fed by nutrient rich water, using less land and less water, and growing even when the weather doesn't cooperate. It's a small pilot, but a big step in learning new ways to grow food. More soon!
