@yoginho Perhaps not exactly the kind of "controlled labels" you are looking for, but here are some recent developments I've seen:
* the developer/maintainer of #syncthing is using the label "ai-slop" when rejecting certain PRs: https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed+label%3Aai-slop
* #mathlib uses the less emotionally charged label "LLM-generated": https://github.com/leanprover-community/mathlib4/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed+label%3ALLM-generated
* Here's an attempt at a more subtle spectrum of labels: https://www.visidata.org/blog/2026/ai/#self-assessed-ai-level-for-contributions
* Lots of git commit messages ending in "Co-Authored-By: Claude ..." that's a pretty clear label and many coders now appear to be very happy to self-label with that.
* IMO the #podman AI policy is very sensible: https://github.com/containers/podman/blob/main/LLM_POLICY.md
The key terms (kind of labels) are not about whether an LLM was used but about readability, simplicity, conciseness, communication, understanding, and responsibility. -

@vkc This is awesome stuff!! Guess I've been using a ""writerDeck"" for years and never knew it. On my main work computer that I use on the road nearly every day, I run #tmux in #termux with #vim, #nnn, #sqlite, #syncthing, and a (perty sweet) custom amber glow colourscheme on my phone mounted on the visor in my car with a split-36 keyboard which sits on my knees.
\m/ Outstanding video, thank you! We all need more of this sorta stuff to inspire us.

My KeePass and Syncthing setup
How I sync passwords across my laptop, desktop, and phone using KeePassXC and Syncthing, plus a couple bash scripts I wrote to handle masked emails (like 1Password's feature) and merge sync conflicts.

@Gabriel #syncthing is really a central part of my setup as well.
On the #android side, the "Fork" version from @fdroidorg has a nice feature to plan the sync periods over time and reduce battery usage.

@bubbles It seems obvious to me that if there exists a recovery mechanism (whether that's "next of kin" or "my coworkers") then that's a weakness that can be exploited from within the company.
Still, I appreciated seeing somebody else that uses the #KeepassXC + #Syncthing pattern! I love it!

#Syncthing is the best file synchronization program I've tried. It has a peer to peer architecture that bypasses cloud subscriptions and keeps your data truly only yours.
I synchronize ~139 GiB of data between three devices (one of them is an Android phone), and it works flawlessly.
It's just incredibly fast when in the same network, and continues working even under restrictive NATs thanks to volunteer-run proxies (data is encrypted so it remains private). -

On the #SelfHost front I'm still thinking about my file syncing issues.
* I've tried setting up a samba share and working from it. Too slow and no easy access remotely.
* Currently I'm still just rclone from laptop to local server to desktop and back as needed.
* I tried #SyncThing. Terrible CPU usage basically all the time. Horribly slow LAN transfers.I guess I'll try #NextCloud and see what the performance is like. All but rclone have been very disappointing so far.

A tiens, ça finit par faire écho, enfin...
Boycott #bitwarden qui ne considère plus l'inclusivité et la transparence comme primordial
Passez a #KeepassDX et #KeepassXC, synchronisé avec #Syncthing 🤷♀️

Boom, done.
It took less than an hour to completely replace #Bitwarden with @keepassxc on the desktop. Functionally a drop-in replacement.
It took just a few minutes to completely replace Bitwarden with @kunzisoft #KeePassDX, after syncing the vault across all my devices instantaneous with #Syncthing. A drop-in replacement in every way, right down to the fingerprint unlock.
Should have done it long ago. Sayonara, Greedheads!
Thanks, everyone!
Should I write it up as a blog post?
