Always assumed I should get a pre-built #NAS for low power and noise, rather than build my own -- maybe #ugreen. The #TrueNAS and #unRAID docs indicate small multi-drive generic enclosures + ITX boards are competitive -- and much cheaper, more flexible. Maybe time to build a replacement for my vintage Synology DS1513+. Opinions?
