The redesigned Obsidian Copilot plugin can now connect to AI agents like Claude Code and Codex.
I connected it to Claude Code and it seems to work well, though my suggest tags skill didn't show up. But Claude Code already has direct access to my notes, so the only benefit I can see is staying inside the Obsidian app.
How do you use AI with Obsidian? Inside the app, alongside it, or not at all?

One of the biggest issues with a Zettelkasten: you'll always have more fleeting notes worth synthesising than time to process them. And you can't rush synthesis, because the friction is where the learning happens.
So I manage the queue. Every Saturday morning a Claude skill picks 12 of the oldest notes marked for synthesis and recommends keep or discard. I make the call. Discarded notes go to my library.

Taking notes on YouTube has always annoyed me. So, here is my take on it.
The Chrome extension launches soon. Originally for Mimir, it works independently and lets you customize how you copy. All processing is local in your browser. I’ll keep the Mimir Highlighter extension updated following YouTube’s changes.

Most of my blog post layouts now come from a conversation with Claude. I share my aims for the post and ask it to scan my permanent notes. It often finds notes I wouldn't even have considered.
It also knows I find it hard to write much over 1,200 words. Its word count estimates can be way off, though that's partly down to me.
Writing the first draft stays my job. The layout is just a list of things I might cover.
